Prayer Before and After Study

Before study Most gracious Lord, send down upon us the grace of Thy Holy Spirit, granting us strength of mind, that attending to the learning set before us, we may grow up to the glory of Thee, our Creator, to the comfort of our parents, and to the benefit of the Church and our homeland. After study We thank Thee, Creator, for having made us worthy of Thy grace to receive learning. Bless our elders, parents and teachers who lead us to the knowledge of good, and give us strength and power to continue this learning.
