Prayer to the Precious Cross

O Lord, save Thy people and bless Thine inheritance, granting victory to Orthodox Christians over their adversaries, and by the power of Thy Cross preserving Thy habitation. Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered; let them also that hate Him flee before His face. As smoke vanishes, so let them vanish; as wax melts before the fire, so let the sinners perish before the face of God; but let the righteous be glad. This is the day which the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. O precious and life-giving Cross of the Lord, help me, with the Holy Lady Virgin Theotokos and all the saints, unto ages of ages. Amen.
