Prayers to the Holy Archangels for Every Day

Monday — To the Holy Archangel Michael Holy Archangel Michael, drive away from me the crafty spirit that tempts me. O great Archistrategos of God, Michael, conqueror of demons! Conquer and destroy all my visible and invisible enemies, and entreat the Lord of Hosts to save and defend me from every illness, mortal wound and sudden death, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Tuesday — To the Holy Archangel Gabriel Holy Archangel Gabriel, who didst bring unspeakable joy from heaven to the Most Pure Virgin, fill my heart, full of pride, with joy and gladness. O great Archangel of God, Gabriel, thou didst announce to the Most Pure Virgin Mary the conception of the Son of God. Announce also to me, a sinner, the dreadful day of my death, and entreat the Lord God for my sinful soul, that He may forgive my sins; that the crafty demon may not seize me and gain power over me. O great Archangel Gabriel! Keep me from all misfortunes and all illnesses, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Wednesday — To the Holy Archangel Raphael O great Archangel of God, Raphael, who hast received from God the gift of healing sicknesses, heal the incurable wounds of my heart and of my body. O great Archangel of God, Raphael, thou art guide, physician and healer; lead me to salvation and heal all my sicknesses of soul and body, and bring me before the Throne of God, and entreat His goodness for my sinful soul, that the Lord may forgive my sins and keep me from all my enemies and evil men, from now and forever. Amen. Thursday — To the Holy Archangel Uriel Holy Archangel of God, Uriel, radiant with divine Light and abounding in the fire of flaming love, cast a spark of that fire into my cold heart, and illumine with thy light my soul darkened by sins. O great Archangel of God, Uriel, thou art the radiance of divine fire and the enlightener of those darkened by sin: enlighten my mind, my heart, my will by the power of the Holy Spirit, and direct my steps upon the path of repentance; entreat the Lord to deliver me from the torments of hell and from all enemies visible and invisible, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Friday — To the Holy Archangel Selaphiel Holy Archangel of God, Selaphiel, grant prayer unto me who prays to thee, teach me humble, contrite, fervent and tender prayer. O great Archangel of God, Selaphiel, thou prayest to God for the faithful; entreat His goodness for me, that He may deliver me from all misfortunes and temptations, from sickness, sudden death and eternal torments, and that He may grant me the Kingdom of Heaven with all the Saints, unto the ages of ages. Amen. Saturday — To the Holy Archangel Jegudiel Holy Archangel of God, Jegudiel, ever-present helper of all who labour on the path of Christ, awaken me too from grievous sloth and strengthen me in good endeavour. O great Archangel of God, Jegudiel, thou art the zealous guardian of God's glory: thou dost stir us to glorify the Holy Trinity; awaken me also from the sleep of sin, that I may glorify the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and entreat the Lord of Hosts to build in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me, and to strengthen me with His governing Spirit, that I may worship in spirit and truth the one true God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Sunday — To the Holy Archangel Barachiel Holy Archangel of God, Barachiel, who bringest us blessings from the Lord, bless me to make a good beginning and to correct my sinful life, that in all things I may please the Lord my Saviour, unto the ages of ages. Amen.
