Prayer at Every Hour

Christ our God, Who art worshipped and glorified at every time and every hour, both in heaven and on earth, long-suffering, most merciful, most compassionate, Who lovest the righteous and hast mercy on sinners, calling all to salvation through the promise of the good things to come. Do Thou, O Lord, receive also our prayers at this hour, and direct our lives according to Thy commandments; sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our reasoning, purify our thoughts, and deliver us from all sorrow, evil and pain; encompass us with Thy holy angels, that guided and guarded by their host we may attain to the unity of faith and to the knowledge of Thy unapproachable glory, for Thou art blessed unto ages of ages. Amen.
